These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, workshop bookings, vouchers, and services provided by Cupcakes & Hugs (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order or booking with us, you agree to these terms.

 

1. About Us

Cupcakes & Hugs creates handmade celebration cakes, cupcake bouquets, themed cupcakes, corporate branded cupcakes, mystery cake boxes, and in‑person cupcake decorating workshops.

All products are freshly made to order.

 

2. Orders & Payments

All orders must be confirmed in writing/Email/Text/Messages and are subject to availability.

A deposit may be required to secure your booking or order. Deposits are non‑refundable unless stated otherwise.

Full balance must be paid by the agreed due date prior to collection or delivery.

Orders will not be released until full payment has been received.

 

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Food Products

As all items are freshly made to order, food products are non‑refundable.

If cancellation occurs after production has started, no refund will be given.

If cancellation occurs prior to production, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion, excluding the deposit.

Workshops

Workshop bookings require a non‑refundable deposit.

If you cancel your place, refunds are not guaranteed. A date transfer may be offered subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop. If this occurs, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

Participants must arrive on time. We reserve the right to refuse entry if a participant arrives more than 15 minutes late.

Vouchers

Workshop and product vouchers are non‑refundable and subject to availability.

Vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date.

 

4. Product Appearance

All products are handmade and may vary slightly from images shown on our website or social media.

Colours, designs, and finishes may differ slightly due to lighting, ingredients, and seasonal availability.

 

5. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Our kitchen handles common allergens including (but not limited to) nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and soy.

While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen‑free environment.

Customers must inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of ordering.

 

6. Collection & Delivery

Collection times must be agreed in advance.

Late collections may affect product quality and availability.

If delivery is arranged, we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or third‑party couriers.

Responsibility for the product passes to the customer once it has been collected or delivered.

 

7. Storage & Handling

Cakes and cupcakes must be stored according to the guidance provided at collection.

We cannot be responsible for damage caused by incorrect storage, transport, or handling once the product leaves our premises.

 

8. Photography & Marketing

We may take photographs of products for marketing and social media unless you request otherwise in writing.

 

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

 

10. Privacy

Customer information is used only for order processing and communication.

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except where required for payment processing or legal obligations.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
